tHE ATHENE SYSTEM
The Athene system is actually a binary system, with two suns supporting different planets, Athene is situated around the brighter sun, Persephone, along with Demeter which is also colonized. Around the other sun, Hades, is another life bearing planet, Cybele. All three life bearing planets have been declared as federation colony worlds, and the Athene binary system is home to most federation citizens apart from the home systems.
